When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.
When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.
When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.
When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.
When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.
When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.
When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.
When times are tough, dare to be tougher.
When love hurts you, dare to love again.
When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.
When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.
When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.
When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.
When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.
When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.
Dare to be the best you can –
At all times, Dare to be!”
This is one of my favorite quotes from a book I’d read a few years ago.Thought I’d share it with my readers here on WP.
The book is Life, the Truth, and Being Free by Author Steve Maraboli. It is an inspirational work by the author and I am glad to have found this book at that point in life when everything seemed to have reached a dead end.
The book is a package of Wisdom and Optimism. It doesn’t preach or boast but merely reminds you that you have everything in you that you need to bring about a positive change.
I am inspired that you always dare to be my sister! You are a blessing!
Oh so happy to see you around, brother.
Dare to be whatever you dream
Glad you mentioned these. I loved this one,
“Dare to SWIM against the tide when you see everyone FLOATING”. 🙂
well after I have tried a number of “Dares” you have listed – I also tell ppl to :
“Dare to be different you see only lambs walking!
Dare to SWIM against the tide when you see everyone FLOATING !” 😀
Nicely written Asha .. Things, which perhaps everyone experiences , and perhaps everyone spend almost a lifetime in getting answers to it .. Ur write was a voice for many .. 🙂
Thank you Kairav and yes, that was the ultimate intention. To voice it out for many. 🙂
Much pleased to see you stop-by after long. Keep coming.
Hmmm.. great wisdom. I have never heard of Dr. Steve, great stuff he’s got, so thank you for introducing us to his work, Asha. Many blessings and much love to you.. 🙂
Yes, you should read the book I’ve mentioned in the post. You’ll like it.
Wish you all the luck Subhan!
P.S.: At the minute, being drowned with work. Haven’t got around reading the draft yet. Will do this week. Hoping that’s fine.
OK. I will, sometime in the future. I have a long list of people I need to read first before this guy. But don’t worry, I will.
And about the draft, don’t worry, Asha. It’s fine. You could do it anytime later, so yeah, anytime this week is good. Thank you, Asha. Many blessings and much love to you. 🙂
Sure and thank you much Subhan. 🙂
