You crave for something for only so long,
and then you begin convincing yourself.
That certain blanks will remain unfilled forever,
certain meanings undeciphered forever,
some questions will forever seek answers
and gradually, you lose hope,
there’s no more faith left, no right or wrong.
Just you and your mindless musings,
for days, for years,
until you cease to breathe.

Okay good! I was wondering what were you thinking in that moment of utter confusion and then I realised it was a mere whim.

It is the way we are built to think and need to know. It annoys me when things are left undone, I tend to ignore things that I don’t think I will ever find out, it helps keep me sane.

Sanity is subjective to the happening of certain things that reign out of our dictionaries. What’s to be done!!

That is a fair point, I like to think I’m sane but then again who really knows.

I needed this dose today: to remind myself that everything I want cannot be achieved. Thank you for sharing, Asha.
