A glimpse
into the gone
in the tales of yonder
beyond the visage
of newness
there lies
wonder
curiosity
freedom
and impish glee
such innocent bliss
such poignant memories
no place thus to be found
no where thus seen
♥
Here’s to the child in each one of us!
👨 Happy Children’s day 👩

while reminiscing
the gone days,
the uninhibited
minds and
souls divine;
while cursing
the mature
grown, walls
on self, self
confined.
i let, from past,
the child, within,
set free……..
giggles and
smiles!
lovely poem……..who wouldn’t want to go back…….but the question is……who would want to leave? 🙂 🙂

Yes. Peter Pan’s ‘Never grow up’ is such a beautiful quote. If we had it our way, we never would.

I believe you. Most of us have grown up wishing for things that did not belong there just then. Although, now there isn’t a thing I would not do to relive those days even if it’s for a day. 😛

Yep! It’s a mental thing.. let’s all behave as real kids atleast on children’s day.. it will be great fun! 😁

I wish we all had that innocence again, it would make life more interesting to approach it as a child with all the associated magic.

My thoughts precisely, J. How is the home-moving going?

Packing is always a slow business but I hope to get a few boxes of books in before the big move and then that will hopefully be quick and painless! Aiming for a week tomorrow but we shall see!

Yes, absolutely. I made cupcakes for kids at an NGO I frequently visit. Their smiles lit up my face. One of the kids about 8 said – It reminded him of his mother. It made my heart melt.

We are all so upset due to demonetizing .I can’t take my sincere hard earned money from the bank . In addition ATM not working.

I can imagine. It has impacted some tiers of the society truly awfully. I couldn’t withdraw money from the cash points for five consecutive days. But it’s all for the greater good and that somewhat pacifies the growing panic.

Nicely written but is it possible to be without hard cash . I am also in favour of Driving the Black market.

Everyone used to write some thing about Chacha Nehru. ..Sweet memories
