A catastrophe
affliction in disguise
wilfully unfair
prejudiced
non-permitting
the hearts to unite
charred affections
replaced for wrath
so we could hurt
and make bleed
our lips met
only to bite into
the melancholy
our minds battled with
our bodies met
only to strip
and insult
our conscience
as flame and fumes
we fused
melted true
but never merged
our love
the bane of our lives
competent to kill
breath to beat
together
we were only
a dreaded
apocalypse

Th ending is strong and perfect! Lovely.
