Dear Reader,
You & I, we haven’t met but you are more than a friend. We haven’t shared a talk but you are my secret keeper. You’ve been patient when I had to rant, and lent me peace of your words when I was low. Could I find a truer friend? Because you’re someone just like me; someone who loves weaving their own world through their passion for writing, who loves being immersed in a world away from the real world; in books. You motivate me, immensely. You support me, unconditionally.
It is because of you that my blogging journey, these past five years, has been blissfully rewarding. I couldn’t start counting my blessings even if I wanted to. I expected a lot from this endeavour; internal solace, essentially, but the most enthusiastic bit was meeting you.
Today, I am delighted to tell you this, this journey would mean nothing without your persistent support, inspiring warmth and cordial love. In all these years, I have tried many times to make you feel the way you make me feel; loved. But is it enough? I sincerely doubt.
So, dear reader, I take this opportunity yet again, to tell you this – whatever I am, you have made me, whatever I have gained, you have given me, wherever I have reached, you have led me. All these memories we have created together are priceless. I thank you, deeply, truly and amply, for being there, as I will be. ALWAYS.
Your friend.
BadBookthief now has 5000 wonderful friends and followers who add more power and sparkle to each day of my writing life.
Happy writing till we meet next.
Until then, carpe diem! 🙂

I’m yet to experience Murakami. Well, I’m reading ‘Hard Times’ by Dickens. It is a part of my syllabus. I’m planning to pick up ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’ after finishing it, which I’ll be reading alongside ‘Doctor Faustas’ by Christopher Marlowe (again a drama from syllabus).
