Anyone who’s read Anne Lamott’s ‘Bird by Bird’ will agree with me that the book is a pool of welcome advise on writing, for anyone who loves the art.
I read the book few years ago and I couldn’t stop but revel in the simplicity of expression which does not make it like you are attending a writing school and make learning the nuances agreeably informative. So subtle yet apt is the delivery of verbal handouts that it makes room in your writing conscience and come soaring to the surface when you put pen to paper. Her book rich with her experience is revered by contemporaries of all ages and so how I cherish every bit of it.
Here’s a quote from her that will be your anchor and save you in moments of prolonged darkness in the writing realm.
Have you read ‘Bird by Bird’? Which is your favorite quote from the book? Do tell.
Happy reading till we meet next.
Until then, carpe diem! 🙂
