Eric Arthur Blair, popularly known by his pen name ‘George Orwell’ has been amongst my favorite authors. But we all love George Orwell, don’t we? I was introduced to his works when I first read ‘Animal Farm’ and how, I love that book! Orwell was one writer who believed that in writing, our choice of words matter most; what we write is only next important after how we write it.
His timeless tips on writing has inspired and helped writers of all ages. Here’s but one piece of his writing advice from his novel – Politics and the English Language.
Do you agree with Mr. Orwell? Do you follow his checklist? Is there any other writing checklist you follow? Do share the same below. I’d love to read all about it.
Happy reading till we meet next.
Until then, carpe diem! 🙂

Love Orwell. I have 1984 tattooed on my knuckles. Though, he probably wouldn’t like my ornate prose style much.

I love Orwell, sadly I do not follow his advice because I just let my emotions take control when I am in front of a blinking cursor.
