Are you ready for Christmas?
To decorate the tree,
The sparkling baubles that shine with glee,
The shops are filled with Christmas galore,
But the people are shouting, ‘We want more’,
Each and every leaf, is covered in snow,
We’re still waiting for Santa’s Ho! Ho! Ho!
The Christmas lights, light up the street,
Presents to open, people to greet,
Look what’s under the tall green tree,
Are these presents all for me?

Thanks, Kat. I enjoyed it with mom. We went away that weekend until Christmas Day. How about you?

You’re welcome. That’s great. Where did you guys go? Mom and I stayed home and had leftovers. It was nice and quiet.

We went to the beachside, away from the bustling city. It was so quiet and nice, we loved it there. You seem to have had a peaceful one too.

That’s awesome. It’s nice to get away from the bustling city now and then. I’m glad you were able to get away and have some peace and quiet. I’m glad it was quiet and nice for you both. I did. It was peaceful. It was nice to not have to cook a big meal and so on.
